Beautiful Way of Inculcating Values

For achieving the target of hundres quintal of rice to Sewa Kunj Ashram, Chapki, we were going door-to-door to collect contributions from household of NTPC Rihand Township. Being engineers of this company, all gave due respect to us and listened what the cause patiently. Repeating the same thing to every household seems boring, yet the distinct behaviour of individual household helps in developing broader outlook towards the society.

The experience at one household is worth mentioning. He welcomed us and felt obliged to see us at his door. Because of hidden instinct of serving guests, he asked us for food and tea. We are not in a state to take either food or tea, but paying due respect in return we asked for a class of water. When we were about to leave he told us to wait, went for consultation with his wife and came out with a five hundred and a five rupee notes. Instead of giving money directly to us, he asked his son who was a class two student to offer the money and to take bless.

Later we appreciated the beautiful and unique way of inculcating values among children.
